The picture you see is a couple of pastors who have given their lives to work in the uttermost parts of the earth. The one on the left is a pastor in Fiji who was recently faced with a difficult situation. He was a pioneer in spreading the gospel in that area and helped build one of the first churches in that nation over 40 years ago. He is a veteran pastor and truly loves the people of his village whole-heartedly.
Recently, due to a decision by his denomination, they decided to vote him out of his existing church building and rescind his ordination for no other reason than wanting somebody younger to take over the church and its facility that he built with his own hands.
Psalm 105:15 says, Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm. Men taking God’s work into their own hands is a dangerous thing, and God saw to it that this pastor and his church were taken care of.
The gentleman next to him is a friend of mine, Pastor Wayne Hancock, and God sent him to this pastor at just the right time. Pastor Wayne received him into their fellowship and ordained him during their conference in Fiji. He then received an offering for him to get started on re-building his church in another location. The offering they received was about $525 USD (this was a significantly large offering for that area), which was enough to get started. They needed an additional $3,000 USD to finish the project, so Webb Ministries sowed the rest of the funds needed.
In these last days the Lord needs STRONG local churches—not only in the United States but all over this world, and that is exactly what Webb Ministries is committed to helping with. This particular church congregation in Fiji was not keen on the change, and most of the congregation is following their pastor to his new location. I am sure there will be much rejoicing in the Lord as they gather in their new building in the near future!
One passage that my wife and I have spent much time in recently is Psalm 133. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Where was the blessing commanded? The place of unity! When there is unity, you will see the blessing of the Lord manifested, and if you’re not seeing the blessing manifested like you desire, check for places of “dis-unity.”
This church had an amazing opportunity—a choice, a decision to make, and because they stayed in unity, the blessing manifested in their behalf.
I want to encourage you today to stay in unity with all that God connects you to—your spouse, family, church, pastor—whoever it is, and you will see the blessing manifest for you!
Thank you for your support of this ministry. Together, we are making a difference all over this world.
