I trust that this letter finds you blessed and excited about what God is doing in the church, in our nation, and in these last days. It certainly is an exciting era to live in. Everyday, there seems to be another earth-shaking event on our radar, with people saying, “Look at what so-and-so said… look at what they’re trying to do… look at this, look at that…” There are plenty of distractions, people, politicians, news platforms, organizations, and causes that are trying to divert your attention and claim your focus. Well, today I want to talk to you about One Man, Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:12, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Think about that. Through one man sin and death entered the world. There is a lot of weight in the fact that it only took one man to bring death and sin to all. However, that is not the end of the story.

Romans 5:17-19, “For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of One the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.”

I want to emphasize to you this day, child of God, all it takes is one man. Through one man, death was utterly defeated! Through one man, a nation was set on fire, and will be again. Through one man, sickness and disease were defeated. Through one man, a new age was born, the age of the church. All it takes is one man.

When everything is blowing up around you, when the storm is raging and the waves are thrashing, all you have to do is keep your eyes on one man! Don’t get distracted, don’t lose hope, don’t look to the right or the left for a man-made solution. Keep your eyes on the Lion of Judah, and allow your relationship with Him to cause you to be bold!

Phyllis and I were sitting on our front porch several weeks ago when we began to stir one another up based upon this truth–that it only took one man, Jesus, to redeem our lives from Satan’s grip. But this principle of “one man” did not stop with Jesus, and we see it throughout the Word of God. Think about the lives of Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Esther, Paul, Peter, and Daniel. Each of these men and women represent one man or one woman who stood for God and righteousness in the midst of extreme opposition. And guess what? God backed each one of them, and they fulfilled what God called them to do.

All it will take for this nation to turn around on its heels and once again move in a godly direction is one man, one woman, one child who is bold in speaking the truth in love.  Because of the one man who stands behind you, you can be the one who sparks a wildfire in your neighborhood, your workplace, your church, your city. Don’t sell yourself short when it comes to your influence or authority in an area. If you stick with doing what is right and speaking the truth, your leadership by example will be the call to action that others were waiting for. Wherever you are positioned in life, know that God is looking for people who will refuse to compromise, who will be bold, and who will step up to the challenge.

In the years leading up to World War 2, there was one such man, and his name was Winston Churchill. He was vocal about the things that were shifting in the political realm, but as anyone who has ever been honest knows, speaking the truth almost never leads to popularity. He was called crazy, even accused of being an instigator, but it didn’t take very long for his theories to be proven correct. Britain fought hard to establish peace with Hitler and Nazi Germany, but Churchill clearly understood what we as the Church need to grasp: light has no business making peace with darkness.

Winston Churchill said, “When you’re going through hell, keep going.” Right now, righteous men and women of God everywhere are going through some dark and heavy things, but the point is, we’re going through. We’re not wallowing, we’re not camping out, and we’re certainly not giving up.

When the temptation comes to yield to weakness and throw in the towel, remember this…because of the One Man, Jesus Christ, you have the heart of a champion! The life and might of God dwells in you, and He has made you that one man for this hour.

Next month we are returning to BRAZIL! The spring of 2020 was the last time we were there, and we are so excited to be headed back to this wonderful nation. We expect an outpouring of the spirit of God, and we know that the Lord will confirm His Word with signs following! Thank you for your support, prayers, and faith that makes opportunities like this possible.
If you would like to sow a special seed into that trip, you can do so here. Thank you again for your support!
